brazeneye, you're more than welcome to join my pity party. I just tore my ACL, MCL, and PCL so I just made a big fat lasagna and will eat the hell out of it. After din din I will wheel myself outside and light some cherry bombs and a few others and then cry myself to sleep knowing I won't be able to play any of the sports I love for a good six months.

Dolphins game Christmas night. Pouring rain, and fell over two rows of seats while my foot hooked under the first row. Quite an ugly deal.

Surgery will be sometime next week. I'll find out Tuesday.

Damn dude! That totally and utterly sucks...you have my sympathies. With proper PT you should be back pretty quickly!

Thanks for the well wishes everyone!

fufu, yes I live in South FLA. The fall happenned at the end of the 3rd quarter. I was going to the head and well, you know the rest. It really could've been much worse although it's hard to imagine that now.

Who won? Did you go to the stadium medical facilities? Stay for the 4th quarter?

That would be really tight if they let you use the same medical facilities the players use when they get injured during the game.

I think he can get back 100% with the proper physical therapy and rest. It is to my knowledge that cruciate ligament injuries can recover well. I think meniscal tears are a bit more tricky.

Got home at approx 1400, i say approx cos after 18ish hours of drinking it was hard to be sure, it was very bright out. Next thing its about 2 am, and i have the mother of all hangovers, really bad, managed to slip back unconcsious and have just got up now, still feeling a bit rough, and not all here.
Think i'm going to step back a bit next year, the fun was not worth the pain, and i don't remember much of the preceeding night at all, no idea where i when the bells rung. That'll teach me, only once a year thank f***...

I threw a party at my new home. It went pretty well. Had one major spill that got all over the wall. Was able to get it off though. I don't think I will be throwing another party for a long time. To much work and I worry about my new house to much. Other then that, the Eagles won with their second string. Now we play the Giants. I'm glad.
