JPEG to text converter needed ...

Got one or know of one I can use? Also need better voice recognition software. The program that comes stock in Winblows will not accept letter pronunciations ... it tries to convert the letters I pronounce into words. "A" becomes eight. "B" becomes bea.

This old school data entry crap is getting .... ooooooOOOOOOLLLLLDDDDDDD

JPEG to text? Do you mean that you want to covert a picture to ASCII art?

A good voice recognition program is Dragon Naturally Speaking.

    Not gonna happen.

OCR is spotty enough with print writing, but it's a no-go with cursive.

Handwriting recognition and OCR for cursive are two completely different animals.

You can try ScanSoft's Omnipage, though.

Isn't there a way to convert a jpeg to a pdf and then you can copy text from the pdf?

Yes but that is just embedding an image inside a PDF file. Otherwise there would still be OCR going on, anyway.

I've heard that if you use a live rabbit, it tastes better.
