I can't stand that guy. I'm a Christian, I pray constantly throughout the day, and I live my life daily the way I believe God wants me to. But when I see guys like him on TV or hear them on the radio I can't blame people for not liking Christians. They really do make the rest of us look like crazy people. I don't think anyone would dislike Christians for believing in something they didn't believe in if there weren't guys like this making us look like self-rightious, arrogant, one sided, hypocritical, Ms. Cleo wannabees.
But I don't think of this guy as a Christian at all, I think of him as a political figure imposing his political beliefs disguised as God's word. It's true I don't listen to this guy for any extended amount of time, but from what I have heard from him he doesn't have very Christian beliefs.
As a side note, I love this quote from that article:
"In May, Robertson said God told him that storms and possibly a tsunami were to crash into America's coastline in 2006.
Even though the U.S. was not hit with a tsunami, Robertson on Tuesday cited last spring's heavy rains and flooding in New England as partly fulfilling the prediction."
