You would need someone filming it first and that always makes me angry or curious. How come they find time to film it but not help?

I was told some information about situation in which the man threw himself onto the subway platform. Apparently the first man was having a seizure. There wasn't any time to actually pull him off the track, so the other man jumped on top of him and covered him with his body so he wouldn't have a spasm and hit the train as it was going by. That's certainly qutie an act of bravery.

That was Tuesday in NYC as well. A college student seizured and fell onto the subway tracks, and another man rolled the student and himself under the train just in time to save both of them. He said it took his hat off, thats how close it was to his head.

He physically moved the seizurer, or atleast that was what I heard. Article anyone?

Thats what I was told. Apparently his hat was also taken off by the train itself, it was really close to his head. Definitely a hero.

I searched but to no avail. Basically the same thing though. I don't know if he did actually move him, but I heard there wasn't enough time and that he had to cover him with his own body to stop him from hitting the train during the seizure. Either way, the guy is a hero.

Someone should really buy him another hat.

Apparently the college that the student guy goes to who seizured offered him 5 or 10k, cant remember. Someone also apparently handed him 10 dollars on his way out of the subway station. Dunno if he accepted, I wouldve, it jsut said "offered".

I wonder if it were a woman that were saved if she'd cry because she thought her college assumed she was only worth 5 or 10k. If you think about it, that does kind of suck.

    That is interesting, though.

He was also on the David Letterman show....

Donald Trump awarded Autrey $10,000. He has received $2,500 from the New York Film Academy to start a scholarship fund for his children, and he has been given tickets and a backstage tour to the Broadway musical "The Lion King." He did the morning news show circuit on Thursday and is to be flown to Los Angeles for an appearance next week on Ellen DeGeneres' show.

I'm not a CPA, but, at only 10 cents per person, I don't believe that he would get hit with a gift tax.

I thought there were about 300,000,000 people. Or close enough to round to that. I'll have to mentally reset that number.

Maybe they could pool together so as to avoid spending quadruple that in postage, heh.

Not for nothing......but I always tell people there is no need to stay so close to the edge of a subway.
I see people impatiently looking to see if the train will arrive.....well guess what, by doing that it won't arrive any sooner.

You shouldn't stay close because .....
    1- You can slip.
2- If you tend to get siezures....well you know the story.
    3-You can get pushed off.

There is no such thing as getting a seat in a NYC transit, never in rush hour.
They do it at all hours.
