Phil Pfister brings home the points to the USA

    Well done guys
Cow Pimp - If you don't train your legs you're a dumbfuck. I'm not going to elaborate on why. If it isn't obvious to you, then you deserve the marginal results that you get and hideously unbalanced/injury prone physique that you will build.

How about a little background for those of use who have no f-ing clue what you're talking about.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

He won the 2006 Met-Rx WSM(World's Strongest Man)

I believe he only came in 6th in the ISFA WSM.

He was behind Maruisz Pudzianowski(sp) by 1/2 a point when they went into the final event, the atlas stones. They were right with each other till the end where Pfister's height came in handy and took the comp. He literally beat Mariusz by less than a second. It was also raining at this time and Pfister's larger hands probably helped out a bit gripping the stones.

No problem. You may catch it on ESPN II sometime, they have been running it lately.

I'm almost willing to overlook what happened in Sean's thread...

I don't get ESPN. I only have basic cable. I only watch about 5 or 6 hours of TV a month.

About 70 or so. I might actually get ESPN, but I'm not into professional sports, so I may not know it's there.

There are special ESPN channels lke ESPN Classic and ESPNU, probably others but I'm not into pro sports too much either.

I would imagine you'd have ESPN I and II though.

I'll check. If I do, I would be interested in watching the strong man competitions.

That's awesome. I think it's been 20+ years since an American won it, but I may be wrong. For a while I was beginning to think MP was going to keep winning (for at least a few more years). I've never even heard of this guy, though. Anyways, sweet.

They probably have really important football highlights from 1988 to show.
