Haha, that is true. But still. It's hard to consider one president putting us in a worse spot. To each his own though, I'm sure many would stil vote Bush.

Hahahha, I am not a Bush fan but I DISPISE Gore and Kerry. My perfect candidate is Rudy Giuliani. He did amazing things for New York City that Bloomberg just came in and completly FUCKED all up. Not to mention they now take 35%.... yes, you heard it correctly... 35% of my paycheck and I don't even get benefits yet. Anyway, Rudy for '08!

I liked the way that someone (I can't remember who) described Kerry.

"He like Al Gore, but without all the flash and sizzle."

As for who I'd vote for if GWB was running again in 2008? It depends on who his oppenent is. Which your poll doesn't cover.

This poll has nothing to do w/ 08. It's whther or not, knowing what you know now, would you vote the same way you did in 2000, if you could do itall over?

I was able to vote in 04 and voted Bush because Kerry seemed unstable. My family is of a strong Republican background but I was honest and voted for who I thought was the best guy at the time. Was that a mistake..maybe but I done what seemed right at the time.

You're post was vague. It sounded like you were talking about the next election, "Would you vote the same way you did in the 2000 presidential election".

It was a South Park episode about Al Gore hunting for a creature named manbearpig. It was pretty funny

From Wiki:"Al Gore visits South Park Elementary, and talks about the terrible Manbearpig, who roams the Earth. Manbearpig is half-man, half-bear and half-pig. After the boys' basketball game is interrupted by another visit from Gore, who is disguised (poorly) as the Manbearpig, Randy says the former American Vice President is just desperate for attention, because he has no friends."

That was a very funny episode.

Well Kelju I'm not so lonely any more ... you too would change your vote.

Anyone else who cares to chime in on what BushCo has done to improve our nation is welcome to do so far as Im concerned nothing he can do short of suicide would impress me. Anyone please elobrate on the BushCo successes that I or my son can expect to enjoy ...

It can't be the economy ... we'd all be way better off if he had not been impacting the various indexes in such a way as to prohibit their growth and limit them to what they are now. Not to mention what good is any money at all if you are so far in debt you will not be able to get out in your life time.

Obviously not our foreign affairs. The world hates us. Iraq is much worse off now that it was. The place is now one big terrorism training camp complete with field tested improvements on IED's. Every dictatorial minded leader in the region is salivating at the thought of us pulling out so he can take the plunder we'd leave on the table.

It can't be our own form of government. The security of our people's rights to protections from abuse at the hands of corrupt leaders is gone. The Executive office's responsibility to function within legal guidelines set forth by both Congress AND the Constitution has been proven to be nothing more than a joke.

We now know that corporate corruption is the norm. We expect to get fired at 19 years and 2 months and replaced with younger workers to avoid paying us our due retirement beni's. It's normal now for corporate leaders to structure lay offs in the thousands so that they can save that $200,000,000 for their own retirements. WE have even less protections from this kind of malfeasance than we had at the start of BushCo's rampage.

Lastly ... but most importantly ... the thing he has removed from me that I want back the most? Security for my son. Before he came into office we had a great expectation that the world would not be engulfed in a nuclear winter. Now? Not so much. We are assured by the terrorists that they have already in place nukes in suitcases ready to send us all to Allah if we attack Iran. He wants to attack Iran.

Should there even be a remotely close to 10% chance of terrorists having the option of destroying our way of life then he has failed miserably to protect this country. He made us all a promise to make this country a safer place to live; free from the threat of terrorism now that threat is higher than it has ever been in the history of our nation and our "friends" are all hiding in their own respective corners of the world in their own flavor of fear.

The only thing that I like about Bush is that he's quick to deal out death to those that deserve it. If only he'd do something about NK and Iran.

If I lived in the States in 2000 knowing what has happened in the past 6 years I would move to another country. Especially if I lived in New York, New Orleans or Florida.

Seriously, as an outsider looking in, how can anyone argue that the US is a better place now than it was when GWB took office? I'd be interested to hear that argument. I feel sorry for whomever has to take over and try to work with the mess that has been created.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Don't feel sorry for him. He'll just push his own fucked up agenda on the US. With a prize as big as the US, who wouldn't want to screw it for money?
