    Computer File Question

    I uninstalled a program (Pamela for Skype), thought it was going to save my old recorded calls, and it didn't. Anyway to get them back?

    No. Uninstallers don't send files the recycle bin.

    But you may want to check where the program stores that info. It may not have been in the Program Files folder. It may be in your Documents & Settings folder.

    theyre all gone from where the program used to save them. everything i had there = gone

    Is your old program's folder listed?

    Keep in mind that, for technical reasons, the longer you wait the less likely you'll be able to get the files back.

    If it is listed, you have two choices, buy the program or crack it.

    I'm trying to crack it, but can't find that particular program. Now I'm trying to find another one that may work. It only happened yesterday; hopefully I can recover it later today

    It might be in the registry. But if it's not, the more disk access he does, the less likely he'll be to retrieve his deleted files.

    I know. The way i read it was that he uninstalled some app that he used to record some conversations with. The conversations should still be there, and be able to be read by the app if it is reinstalled.
