I should watch the Labyrinth with David Bowie in it first.

Should watch a movie called Mirrormask too, it's pretty awesome...

    Here's a taste...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Looks awesome. The reviews I've read have been unanimously stating that it is excellent. Del Toro in the hot seat means that it will be fantastically dark.

    Good movie!

I though it would be frightening as well, but even though there are some scary scenes there aren't any stupid deliberate 'jump in your seat' teen-slasher type scenes. There was only once scene that i didnt want to watch. It wasnt scary, just gross. (hint: the sewing scene)

Also dont expect much hollywood style razzle-dazzle, but there are several good scenes and special effects are done well. Movie is done well with a good storyline. It is not all about the labyrinth, there is a second story that runs parallel as the movie is set in Spain during the Spanish revolution.

Those who are find it challenging to view a sub-titled movie might want to stay away. However the dialogue is kept simple and the sub-titles are not verbose.

Saw it last night its a great Movie! Just don't bring your kids it some parts are pretty gross. You even learn a little bit of history regarding the Spanish Civil War and what took place afterwords. Franco makes Bush look like a nice guy and thats pretty hard to do. If you like to get baked while seeing movies this ones a great one to do it at. Im going to get it on dvd when it comes out too a lot of Symbolism in it.

Its sort of like Narnia with 2 different worlds but very graphic. Its not a horror movie it just it has very bad antagonist in it you will hate his guts by the end of the movie. This guy is one sick brother. I had to turn my head away a few times. Since it takes place it Fascist Spain where they were ruthless against the rebels take no prisoner, where Narnia takes place in England. This movie has torture and lots of gunshots to the head. Don't take your kids to it. Its a great movie the cinematography and lighting are excellent. Trust me you won't be disappointed! I saw it with 2 other people and we all want to see it again to better understand it.

Wait wait (bare in mind, i cant access rottentomatoes), is this the movie that hasa trailer of a girl and a boy running through the woods and find some world, and the next scene shows an army of fire-fly like bugs about to attack some wolves or something?
