    Updated due to my being a fucking idiot and got owned so bad: What does the impeachment of the President of the United States mean?

    I swear, no one knows what this really means. It bothers me so much I had to make a poll!

    I think so, but that isn't very clear according to the definition. I suppose I should have left off the mentioning of the Presidency for total accuracy. However, in this context I think it's safe to say that when the word is mentioned no one thinks "impeach the judge?!?!"

    Indeed. The House brings charges against the person. Then there is a hearing with the Senate being the convicting (or not convicting) jury, needing a 2/3 vote to convict. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court serves as judge here and it's held in the House Chambers. And I always thought I sucked at government class...

    I think it should mean that when a majority of the population thinks the President is fucking incompetent he should get the fucking boot....
