    Are Dems screwing themselves?

I'm a republican, but I think the Dems are pretty stupid. Their two main candidates are a woman and a black man. I'm not sure if America is ready for either. I think they will lose a lot of votes for this.

Obama is whiter than you are.

His father was from Kenya, and I think his mom was white from Kansas.

Like I've said before, these are the reasons that the black politicians aren't behind him. His mother is the wrong race and his father it the wrong nationality.

In other words, he doesn't walk around with the same sense of entitlement that most black Americans have. He also doesn't suffer from the mentality that all of life's faults are a product of the white man.

I heard this on the radio and immediately thought to myself, "WTF, since when is anyone in Kenya NOT black?"

No white people up in that country.

Of course. The guy is a hard worker, and very smart. I like many of the programs he has supported, and he seems to me to be the most honest and down to earth politician in a long time.

No. He's just started his pre-campaigning and he's already making some big mistakes. Then again, they're the same mistakes that other Dems are have made.

He is a moderate liberal and, so far, he's said nothing that I'd overtly disagree with.

The truth be told, I do kind of like him. I'll put it this way, if he promised to get rid of all the illegal Mexicans, that'd push push me over to his side and he'd get my vote.

I personally don't think Hillery would do the Dems any good by running, I can see Obama and Rudy fighting at the end.

Not to mention it would solidify my belief that this Nation, that I love so dearly, is going down hard in coming years.

All this sarcasm is the only way I can express my sadness. :-/

I need you to explain what experience is necessary to perform well as President of the United States. For example, explain what experience our current President had that made him so capable of performing his duties that Senator Obama currently lacks.

First we can start by stating being a Senator for two years is a lot less experience then a two term governor. Also Obama lacks a stance on anything but gun control and the war.

Everyone forgets that Obama got lucky even wining his Senate seat, after his opponent get stuck in a sex scandal like two months before the election.

I'll admit that two terms as Governor of Texas is a lot compared to two years in the Senate. And there are certainly experiences that President Bush gained as such that Senator Obama has not, and will not. However, I would argue that being Governor of Texas is very different than being President of the United States. And, as is very apparent these days, being Governor for two terms in no way guarantees the ability to be President. There is more to a man than the offices he once held.
