Love it when this happens overseas. Here in the states the old fella would not have had his right to defend himself, his rights to privacy, nor his right not to be bothered by the press recognized. Complete respect for the man !!!

Their only "ace in the hole" was the guy with a gun. He gets neutralized in a few mere seconds by a 70 year old man. Yea... I'm not surprised they ran. They probably pissed themselves in the process.

They could have been adults.

Think about it; how many successful muggings do you think they did? Even more so with a gun? Then, out of the blue, one of their muggings not only falls to shit, but they lose their gun-man in seconds. That sort of a cluster-fuck would cause many adults to panic and run.

Could have been adults or kids. I was just putting together that they ran and also they had knives rather than a gun. It just seems like kid stuff to me. Like an older leader with two hoods.
