If you could do ONE thing better than anyone else in the world....

    What would it be?

And what would you use it to do?

Play video games...so I could get paid to play video games all day long...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Control my autonomic responses like heart rate, blood pressure, and my reaction to nervous stimuli.

I'd use this to set world free diving records, qualify for space flight, pass all polygraph tests, and have sex longer than 27 seconds. I'd stop blushing so easily, and win at poker all the damn time. I would use this to become wealthy beyond my wildest imagination ... and I have a very vivid imagination so that's pretty wild. I'd look to slow my metabolic rate down almost to nothing as I rest so I'd also be able to extend my life span to somewhere around 140 years of age before death.

There are Tibetan monks that can do that. They have incredible mind control and focus.

So do it. You're way young enough ... just go and hit the minors and work your way up. Don't be my age and resent that you didn't do it. I wish I had. Life prevented my from doing that. Don't be me ... fucking fight.

I would be the greatest guitarist in the world. People would pay to see me perform. I would have a job I love and make a lot of money doing it.

Not necessarily. There really isn't much corelation between peoples guitar abilities and their success. Just look at all the great guitarists out there that are nobodies and then look at the ones that are popular and successful.

I've tried to an extent. I know it sounds like an excuse, but it really is about choosing one future over the other, and at 21 turning 22, I'm not good enough to ever go professional. I would have loved to have started doing serious boxing in early high school (or even younger) instead of my junior year (late) high school. I used to dream about going to the 2004 Olympics. Now I need to worry about graduating in the fall and getting a good job. Although hopefully I will still keep up with boxing, but as more of a novelty as opposed to competing. I'll just live vicariously through my kids when I have them .
