    The Great Global Warming Swindle

The Great Global Warming Swindle - Google Video
    1 hour 15 minutes long.

This was made in the UK.

It is quite interesting and presents lots of data and information on climate change, political factors, etc. It will not bore you.

Definitely worth a watch, regardless of your point of view.

Hmmmm..lemme guess, it says something along the lines of: "Humans have exactly zero effect on global warming."

Actually, it says we have a positive impact, our mere existence slows down global warming, but not the white devil.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

In the 70's people were talking about putting charcoal all over Antarctica in an effort to stop drastic global cooling.

Al Gore and the rest of the liberal elite that are making billions off this mass hysteria have little credibility in my book.

Now that's a conspiracy theory: "Al Gore started the whole Global Warming Debate to make a profit."

Really? He went to such great lengths to create elaborate presenations, aquire datasets, and analyze different trends, over the course of 2 decades+, hiring the worlds leading scientists, etc, and all this to make money?

Wow, it would have been a hell of alot easier just to be corporate whore like Bush and Cheney and make money that way.

"billions"? Now I can show you the billions made by the fossil fuel industry, it's paid advocates/scientists and it's efforts to shut down alternative fuel research dating back several decades.

Where is this global warming gravy train and how do we get in on it?

The money is in the "Carbon Neutral" scam and in the hundreds of millions in grants going to alarmist scientists. I'm pretty sure Al Gore is a co-founder or some company that sells carbon credits or some other hippy bs. I'd have to verify it though.

The movie makes it pretty clear regarding the grant money. Oh yeah and it makes the science pretty much crystal clear as to why it's a load of crap.

Slander and innuendo. That's been the lifeblood of criticism of Al Gore. Please stop debasing our discourse with such nonsense.

I agree with you in part on carbon credits. I have a big problem with that scheme.

Please provide some concrete numbers to support your position that the research alarmist scientists are swimming in research dollars.

Excuse me? When Al Gore came under fire for his massive power bill, he told people he offsets it with investments in sustainable technology. He was investing in his OWN COMPANY THAT HE CO-FOUNDED: Generation Investment Management. So please, follow his lead and give him some of your money to offset your carbon outputs. The plants, animals, and Al Gore's portfolio can all thrive in harmony. He's a scam artist.

The scientists themselves in that documentary will tell you about the grant money if you're actually interested. Take it straight from their mouth, not mine. It is well-made and if you actually watch it might, at the very least, make you skeptical of the hype.

Only you could turn a hedge fund investing in environmentally responsible enterprises into a loathsome scam for personal aggrandizement.

He's getting rich quick off of rubes that believe the scientific consensus that global warming is real and it's a threat.

I would like to watch your film but I'm doing my best to just type responses--I'll view it post 3/15 (tax deadline).

Who cares about global warming? I'm more concerned about global pollution and terrorism funded by oil producing countries in the Middle East....

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Global Pollution is directly linked to global warming. the effects of GW and pollution come from the same causes. It is predicted that global warming will be responsible for massive flooding, drought all over africa/asia, the spreading of disease since disease carrying insects will just survive more, extinction of species due to the distruction of natural habitats, the list goes on.... My point is: It's enough to care about

Yeah, that's fucking inexcusable. How can business justify making money over the extinction of any species. I'm not talking so much about global warming, but corporations destroying natural habitat in the name of profit.
Shame on you, you faceless suited-up fuckheads.

Yes but for the meatheads who can't understand it or need evidence now of what our use of fossil fuels is doing to our mother earth and to the security of our Nation I present exhibit a) and b), the cost of pollution is already killing off species and their natural habitats, lung diseases are becoming more and more common for people living in polluted cities, cancers have been linked to environmental pollution and those countries that we get oil from do have people who profit off of the revenue that are then giving that money to muslim extremists.... so even if they have no foresight at least they can see the things that are happening now directly related to fossil fuels and man made pollution........I've given up trying to get the Global Warming cause to click with hardheads who need hard facts and instead present things that they can see NOW.....

And if you believe otherwise, you need to prove it.
