    Halloween being remade

Rob Zombie is a leech when it comes to Horror films. This dude has no creative ideas for himself. He should stick to drawing comic books. Another classic film ruined:

    Halloween (2007)

This is outfuckingrageous. I am sorry, but I fucking hate Rob's movies. There I said it. They seriously look like they are thrown together with construction paper, magic markers, and elmers paste. Yeah, not the glue, the fucking PASTE.

    The paste is actually glue.

I agree. All he does is take the ideas/plots from old classic horror films that were fine as is and add the shock factor with the added violence and gore. Halloween is a classic horror film that has aged perfectly fine and should never be allowed to be touched by this scrub. The younger generation who goes to see the remake never having seen the original are going to remember "Halloween" as the 2007 Rob Zombie version. Sad...

He even steals the characters' names from all of his movies from old horror flicks. It's no wonder he has to recycle all the same actors for his work (his wife too ). Who would want to be remembered as being in this clown's movie?

The only good thing I can say about one of this movies is that Devil's Rejects had a great soundtrack. And I'm sure he wasn't behind it.

Sadly it will make a lot of money. The horror genre has always been cliched and filled with copycats. SAW came out and shocked people so they made many sequels and imitations.

Actually, you're wrong as usual. Glue is typically a processed protein and paste is a starch. Two different compounds completely.

    And yes, Rob Zombie sucks.

His movies suck. His music is flat and unimaginative, yet he promotes himself as an edgy artistic talent. I'm thinkin' he more austic than artistic.

That comes down to the taste in music, which I wont touch on for the same of the movie subject.

Ill bet his music doesnt fit the scenes. Guitars dont need to be played when gore or sadistic nature arrives on the screen. In fact, its down right wrong.

As far as Halloween goes, its score was up there with Jaws's when it comes to familiararity. It should not be touch OR modified.

"It it isnt broken, dont fix it."

Then again, that adage can be said for the whole idea of remaking this movie.

Exactly. The whole movie was perfect. If he wants a piece of the series, he should get in line to add a shitty sequel, where he belongs.

I would suspect John Carpenter got a lot of money for this...

Not to mention, NO MASK has looked as good as the ones they used in the first 2. Anyone else notice this? The following masks were WHITE and FAT. The next ones were a tad better, but I guess they thought it would be...scarier(?) if you can see his eyes through the eye holes.

No way. Black eyes all the way. Paleness, not white. Oh fuck describing it, just get the original masks!!!

Or dont make the movie. I always thought a good prequel to these slashers would be for Freddy. I seriously think it would be a good serial killer movie really. A child molesting killer that is burned by the parents? Make a whole movie on that? I dont think it would be bad concept.

I just read a little bit of the script that someone posted on another site, and as I suspected, he took the original and altered it for the worse. Added gore and violence with more focus on the messed up childhood of Michael Myers. Sounds terrible.
