Did you try it at least once?

I saw these TV ads against meth and they are very scary!

Is it really like that? I dont use drugs so I dont understand how someone can try it once and get addicted. Is it really that horrible or that good? Did you use it?

I think it is the most addicting drug out their, besides maybe heorin. Not something to play around with.
My friend was telling me about when he was at this meth head apartment...he said he was really wierded out..their lives were a mess. I guess thats to be expected.

It is the most addictive bar none. I have been in training that teaches about meth addiction and the dangers of it, not only for the user, but for people around and near them. It's damn nasty and dangerous. This will be the worst drug of any we have seen.

I havn't tried meth, but here's my experience with addiction.

It's not a time thing, and bam, your hooked.

it's more of a gradual process. First you get curious, and you tell yourself you want to try it just one time to see what the hype's about. But then you like it. You don't instantly do it multiple times a day. Rather you just go on with your life, and you start to notice everyday seams boring for some reason.

You go out with friends and you try it for a second time because what use to be fun, is now boring compared to the drug....suddenly your day's a whole lot better. Now it seams the days that you don't do it, starts to get even more and more boring. And gradually, you start doing it more and more often, and by then your in too deep.

Addiction is a powerful thing. You don't think rationally, even though your capable of it. In a sense, you have two opposing voices in your head......one telling you your killing yourself, and the other saying, just one more hit. The devil wins 99% of the time. Most people think their will can overcome it easily. But your will is no longer there when a drug has a hold of your brain.

meth is a cancer on society. it is a fire that it sweeping through America destroying lives and scaring families. anyone who touches it is a fool and is dancing with the devil. it is stupid to believe that you are special and that it wont happen to you. you are not special it will happen to you.

I'd never touch the stuff, I've tried everything else, but would never come near that crap. The problem with that is there is no coming back once you've gone down that route, it kills the pleasure systems of your brain so that when you don't have it you can't find pleasure in anything again unless you have that drug...fuck that...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

So does this happen to everyone that tries it or some people can recover? Because from all the responses so far it seems it is almost like suicide.

one of the side effects is a feeling of "movement" on your skin which makes people scratch. they get the sensations of spiders crawling under their skin which makes them scratch creating huge open scares on there face and bodies.

the drug also dries your mouth of saliva which makes your teeth rot and fall out!
