    Strange workout experiences:

What is your strangest experience whilst working out?

This can include being under the influence of narcotics, strange gym-goer behaviour, anything.

If anyone has worked out under the influence of narcotics, I would be intrigued to hear the experience......

Workouts where I can, for no reason that I can explain, do way more than I did before. This has happened to me a couple times.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

I've had that too. I almost find that each workout varies a little either way, and then one leaps up out of the blue where you felt like you can move mountains. Love that.

Did you have a good vacation Doms?

I have worked out on pot, ecstacy, and coke.

The best workouts I have ever gotten were after smoking a bowl of nugs and drinking a big mug of coffee.

Working out on X wasn't so great, because I was too easily distracted.

I always wondered about X. Played soccer on it before, but never worked out.

I always figured that you would be hard pushed to feel tired on that. Plenty of energy flowing through you, did you set any PR's?

I did when I was smoking weed, but coke and X killed my cardiovascular system too much.

But isn't a depressant, btw. Most people believe it is, but it actually is a hallucinogenic.

With weed, I could go into a level of concentration that I can't reach otherwise. I can feel every muscle being recruited and each rep feels good. There is no pain. Pot has a strange effect with the burn, because I know the pain is there, but the pain doesn't hurt. Does anyone understand what I mean?

Once when I was doing seated leg curls after a very taxing lower workout my calf cramped up like a motherfucker. Some of the worst pain I have felt in my life. It was already hot in the gym that day and I was sweating profusely.

A girl I recognized from high school was walking by and said "hello", then noticed I was in bad pain and said something like, "are you alright?". I asked her to help me walk over to an open room where people stretch. I got up and I hobbled over while I had my arm around her for support. After a few hops I just like, "fuck it". I fell/sat down right in the middle of the gym between some machines. I could hardly see amidst all the purple and silver sparkles flying in my eyes. I thought I was gonna puke/pass out. While this is happening she is trying to make small talk, lawl.

Then when I came to, we just chatted about life for like 10 minutes as I lay in the middle of a crowded gym all pale and sweaty. I had never talked to her up to that point.

My top two: Running a 5k race while stoned out of my mind on pot and setting a personal best because I felt no pain whatsoever.

I also did an extra long spin class one time and passed out on the bike. I fell off with my feet still clipped into the pedals and pulled the bike on top of me. The people in the class were a little worried about me but after the bleeding stopped I was fine.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

It's not the pain part, personal experience with the 'erb, makes me agree.
I've only played soccer on this, but find that it tires you out really quick, and the explosive movements and power were lacking. I just find that it de-motivates me. Could'nt imagine lifting on it, but each to their own.

a chick running a tread mill next to me let one rip.

she tried to play it off as if someone walked by did. But judging by her uncomfortable fidgitiness, it was definitely her.

I remember after one work out I was so exhausted I laid down on my bench to keep from falling down cause I was dizzy......suddenly it felt like I was starting to float and I pictured myself floating out of a window and over a busy street below....at the same time a breeze blew across my body and it felt like I got blown miles away from home... then I started to drift down wards.....down and down and down and then bam my hands smacked hard on the ground and startled my eyes open......my body had a slight buzz like I had taken a drug or something and my hands were dangling by my sides on the ground.......I must have fallen asleep and the buzz on my body made feel like I was weightless, my arms were so tight that they were held inches over the ground the entire time until that second where they suddenly loosened and hit the ground hard. Thats the strangest thing without drugs I've had in my gym....

Having a lot of difficulty doing lying leg curls because this hot chick in front of me was doing SLDL's (very short shorts and tight tanktop) and i had a boner going so i couldn't get into the proper "comfortable" position. Had to walk it off a little bit and wait until she left and then finish my set.

I once started a set of squats and randomly thought about something funny to do with monkeys working out. This made me laugh so much i had to cut the set in half or it would have ended badly, lol.

And there was the time when i did squats in the gym and my trousers split right up the ass. I still finished twenty minutes in the gym with my rear end on display, though. Im just glad it wasnt thong day.
