Think about it, the crust would be hard and inside would be full of warm pliable sour dough. You break it open and the steam comes pouring out and you can eat it with a nice bowl of soup.

i make bread but basic types, potato bread, sally lunn, angel biscuits i haven't tried making dark breads but i'd like to. i don't eat it often but my favorite kinds are heavy multi grain made into toast or sourdough italian. a grilled cheese sandwich made with raisin bread is good too.
