Probably a college near the beach, with a good sports program and outside of the city, but still w/in driving distance. Somewhere in SoCal probably, if that's your thing.

I don't know what state is the most fun, but I do know that Alabama isn't.

depends, if your 21 then definately Las Vegas, Nevada. I don't give a shit what time of the year it is, I think it's far and away the greatest place on Earth. If you're under 21....well I have no fuckin idea.

Lawl, I get that a lot actually. Truth is, there are things I like about Alabama, but fun just isn't what the state is good at.

Hawaii would be my choice. I went to a uni in Cali though and decided to stay. Nice weather year round at least in Southern Cali. Also your close to the beach and the surfing is decent. But you are also close to the mountains so you can go camping or riding or snowboarding in the winter. There's enough variety to suit anyone's tastes but it also has a lot of drawbacks. Pretty expensive place to live and some people are a bear to deal with.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams

no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Austin Texas. UT rocks, and you can do what you want here most all year round.

By the wording of your question you should most likely join a Frat. at a major university and you will be happy.
I've attended 2 dif. colleges so far and don't particularly like either.

Speaking from the places I have lived, I think Nevada (Reno area) would be the most fun for a high school or college student. The reasons being is the location is just great. Awesome weather all year long, right by Mount Rose if you like skiing, casinos, always have events coming into town, right next to California (four hours from San Fran), and is half an hour to the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. However, I want to end up in California some time after I graduate.
