I'd say it would not be cool on the friend's part.

I'd never date a friend's ex if their relationship was pretty serious. And even if it wasn't, I'd still consult with him.

If it was some girl i just messed around with for a while and my friend genuinely liked her, then by all means go right ahead. Otherwise its disrespectful to me if my buddy slams an ex.

As long as they don't complain that I'd ran her ragged and such....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

It depends, like the others said. How long did you date? How long ago did you date? Hell there are a few chicks I know that got passed around to almost all of us.

It would bother me a little, but it would also depend on the friend. If it was a girl I cared a lot about, and I know my friend will treat her right, I have no choice but to have no problem with it. But if he's just gonna use her and abuse her, then yeah, that's fucked.

I honestly don't care either way, but if someone had a problem with me doing the same, I would understand.

a good friend....no...unless there was an explicit "okay" stating that the emtional attachement is gone.

a co worker and regular friend/acquaintence....no big deal, but a little shady.
