In other news, a young couple in Knoxville was the victim of a brutal hate crime. Christopher Newsom was castrated, brutally beaten, shot, and burned while his girlfriend, Channon Christian, was watching. Channon was then raped repeatedly by four assailants over a two day period. After forcing her to perform oral sex, the men poured household cleaners down her throat in an attempt to destroy DNA evidence. They then cut off one of her breasts and strangled her to death. Her body was recovered in five separate garbage bags.

Since the incident in mid-January, there have been many recent developments in this case. All four suspects have been apprehended. A witness surfaced who viewed the heinous acts, and then she too was charged with crimes. More recently, three of the suspects entered not guilty pleas.

THIS IS A FACT : Im not kidding, in my state, the city prosecutor ALWAYS ALWAYS charges someone with the fullest extend of the law for drug distribution for crack IF THEY ARE WHITE. If they are black on the other hand, they choose sometimes not to file charges or try to plead them down to possesion. WHY? because it looks racist to prosecute a black man for crack distribution because they outnumber the white dealers 10 to 1. So they try to get all the white guys the hardest because its gona look better on paper..........I have experienced and seen this FACT...................................Now before I get the RACIST card pulled on me id like to tell you that my parents raised me better, I often too find myself giving black people better treatment then white people because im sometimes scared of the race card being pulled.....Also one of my favorite people out there are old black people, they are always very pleasant and have the best stories, I often talk to them for long time because all of the stories of the "old days"....

I think the way CBS and MSNBC have handled this shows how much they really care about what Sharpton and these morons think. They suspend Imus for 2 weeks starting more than a week after he said it. The statement generates buzz, and Proctor and Gamble and Staples pull advertising calling for his ouster. Over the next week, CBS gets to see the ratings for his show increase, no one listened to it in the first place, and gets to make a decision based on how much buzz it generates and the ratings increase. If there is a positive turn in the ratings, Imus is going nowhere, Proctor and Gamble and Staples will be advertising on the show again within 2 months, Don Imus is a celebrity, and black people will have to look for another reason to hate whitey. If the ratings still hover around that 0.0 mark, Imus gets paid to sit at home and goes around discussing this very subject. Either way, whitey wins because blackey gets pissed.

If sense were common, everyone would have it.
