I've long learned that the American Public (as a whole) so desperately ignorant of fact will still seek to blame all the woes of the world on the President. It's like, none of these critics seems to notice all the other "idiots" in the world. They'll never comprehend the immense burden of our own government let alone the vast complexity of global politics. Still, the best they offer to argue is "He's the dumbest president". I suppose such subjective judgements are easy to arrive at given our lack of all the details.

The video is comical. Funny "bloopers" if you will. Hell even George Bush himself can enjoy a good laugh at his own expense. That certainly doesn't qualify him to be an "Idiot".

It's sad to see so many people carry such a low opinion of thier president.

Bush has been an unmitigated disaster as president. Everything he touches turns to shit: illegal invasion of a country w/ no ties to 9/11, a total mismanagement of that military excursion, failing to catch OBL, terrorism up worldwide by 400%, violation of FISA--spying on americans, authorizing torture, damaging our 4th, 6th, & 8th amendment rights, the pathetic response to Katrina, medicare swindle, and being a 'divider' of Olympian proportions.

Our economy is rolling because of a protracted housing boom, benefits from an ongoing computer revolution and suppressed interest rates by the Fed. The president has little to do with the expansion/contraction of GDP.

On the other hand his ruinous tax cuts, which disproportionately favored the elites, will handicap our government and pass a debt along to our children and grandchildren. What is the debt under this president? Oh that's right, under his conservative rule the debt has grown to almost 9 trillion dollars.

I sincerely doubt that Kerry or Gore could have bungled things as often and as profoundly as President Bush.

I don't see any silver linings coming out of this administration, do you?

That would get ugly fast.

Then again, the office of the presidency is the single hardest job in the world requiring a man of extraordinary skill and aptitude. That just doesn't sound like Bush. He's a small man not worthy of the office he holds.
