    Dammit.....

    I need the MS XP software for a netgear RangeMax 240 Wireless Router.

    Anyone got a clue where I can get it? I can't find it for DL anywhere!!

    Sorry Wit, but I don't follow. The router has its own firmware built into the router. What are you trying to do? Can you be more specific?

    So it should plug & play then? Without the need for additional drivers?

    You don't need drivers for your router. Just go to IP 192.168.0.1 through your web browser to configure.

    Routers require no drivers. If it isn't working, you have a configuration problem in your TCP/IP setting under local network. You should be set for Optain IP automatically. Then power cycle the router, modem, and all should work, if you don't have a physical cabling problem.


    Are you plugged into a network, or home dsl/cable modem?

    Nevermind..... I had a bad Ethernet cable. Damn computer couldn't see the connection because there wasn't one.
