Sorry Wit, but I don't follow. The router has its own firmware built into the router. What are you trying to do? Can you be more specific?
I need the MS XP software for a netgear RangeMax 240 Wireless Router.
Anyone got a clue where I can get it? I can't find it for DL anywhere!!

So it should plug & play then? Without the need for additional drivers?
*edit* Shit... I said software.......
I meant drivers![]()

You don't need drivers for your router. Just go to IP 192.168.0.1 through your web browser to configure.

Routers require no drivers. If it isn't working, you have a configuration problem in your TCP/IP setting under local network. You should be set for Optain IP automatically. Then power cycle the router, modem, and all should work, if you don't have a physical cabling problem.
Are you plugged into a network, or home dsl/cable modem?

Nevermind..... I had a bad Ethernet cable. Damn computer couldn't see the connection because there wasn't one.
Thanks for the rapid support.
