Yes.
I live in a pretty liberal area (for texas), and we have gotten drunk and high before and even during work (on our lunch breaks).
Makes it hella better.

No...
however once I drank, went home, stayed up all reading an entire movie screenplay then writing a 1500+ word paper on it due in morning. That day at school sucked, but I got a 95 on the paper.

Ty, it was a sparkling moment in my high school career.

We used to have a beer vending machine in the office I used to work at... does that count? So I never drank before work but I drank a lot at work
I work for Budweiser. It's a requirement that you have to be drunk during work.
I drive a big truck

Liquid Lunches are great, pitcher of beer and head back to work, that the way we did it in the Navy while in port. My current job my boss has a flask in his pocket all day...one time before we were to meet some clients he sent me to the store to buy him a large bottle of Beefeater and Tonic & a big gulp, just ice to the brim(oh amd I got a forty that I pounded on the way back to the office and stashed another in the cooler of ice & Heineken in the back).....when I got back he poured himself a his own big gulp.....then we were off to meet our our clients....

Loads of times.
Still drunk from night before (fun until it wears off- then ugh). Loads of times.
Hit the bar before work for a few. (a few times)
Hit the bar for pub lunch. One turns into five. (occasionally)
At work. Celebrations of some kind, yup i'll have one.... (rarely)
Also been to work:
Stoned (on various types of weed - hyperpolinated super skunk was nuts though) (loads of times - although only once on HP super skunk)
Coming down off X (horrible, zombie like) (twice)
Tail end of a trip (not good) (once)
Ah...the good old days.
I used to stop by the corner store and start drinking on the way to work. Then I'd have one of those "Tilt's" (Energy/alcohol) in the breakroom before my shift started. Made the day go a lot faster.
I wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself
One time I went to this place called Crazy J's bed shop to look for a new bed and I had 4 friends with me hanging out. This 17 year old girl who worked there was being very frivelous and crazy (overweight and unnattractive girl) and hitting on all of us. She had this big plastic cup from a fast food place but she was passing it back and forth with her other friend who worked there which isn't something people do too often with just a simple soda.
Finally I asked her what was in it (with all my buds standing there) and she giggled and said "Bacaaaardi" little did she know 3 of my 4 friends were security forces (military police) and 2 of them volunteered as civilian police officers part time.
...big trouble in little bed shop.

You know that kleenex commercial where the rough tissue got close to the kids nose his nose moved away from it and was going all over the place trying to keep from getting touched by the tissue....
That's what my wang would do if you got that girl close to it. Yuck. Not to mention she was a minor.

I used to work maintenance at a teamster-run plant...
we worked 24hr clock Monday-Friday...
Swing shift shut down the plant @ midnight Friday...
Every Friday night two hours before close
my foreman would send me to the store to buy a six-pack of tall boys, of Busch Light, and a scratch-off lottery ticket for him

There were times last summer when I'd come into work at nine looking like absolute hell. I vividly remember one time where for about an hour once I got in I was in the bathroom puking. It's a good thing I've gotten past the whole puking thing.
One of the reasons I never drank before work was because I didn't feel it necessary to wake up at 7:00 to get a six pack in, not to mention I was working out after work and I'll never drink before a workout, so...
I do have friends that "pre-game" for class or work. I try to keep my alcoholism at least somewhat under control. I mean, the way I see it if my job isn't tolerable sober to the point where I need to drink to get through a day, I probably should go and find something I like.
I've been ordered into work a couple times when I was out drinking, may have been border line drunk.
I hope that donkey doesn't have a heinie troll!

Let me tell you a little story.....wait a bunch of little stories about the Navy, standing watch and pulling into foreign ports and taking turns sleeping behind the UHF's.....

I'm not pooling them in with the rest of police. Many are good people. I just don't understand how you could arrest someone who is harming nobody, getting a little buzz going with a couple friends and having a great all around time.
Perhaps I'm bitter because I've been arrested for underage drinking a few times..
Thats a fine line right there. In the case of a few girls drinking a bit at work, well I dont think it is harming anyone. The big question is how does she get home? I have been hit by a drunk driver and its no fun! Kind of a double standard, but I highly doubt anyone was thinking how is she going to get home?
