    Anyone seen Pirates 3 yet?

I saw it last night. Amazing special effects, but I was so confused throughout most of the movie. If you haven't seen it yet, make sure you watch the second one again because they don't go back and explain much.

I wish he would hurry up and finish this Pirate shit and get the Rum Diary done, he owes it to Hunter...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Or at least get The Ginger Man done, I love these adaptations of some of my favorite novels and authors...

I just read about the Ginger Man on Amazon. That looks like a pretty good read.

All of Donleavey's books are good, Hunter recommended him to me so I started reading his books and they were all good, my kind of stories, Hemingway and Fitzgerald type stuff....

Yeah the storyline is all fucked up. They want you to watch 1 and 2 again to understand everything. I stopped trying to comprehend and just enjoy the circus now.

    Big fucking bingo.

I was lost. Their dialogue have such strong accents and now that they are so good at them, they talk faster WITH the strong accents. I couldnt understand a thing most of the time.

Special effects were good, but it wasnt enough for me to notice how long it was. It really did drag.

So many things werent needed...like Calypso? What did she do? Ooohhh, she made a storm. What were the other pirate captains there for in the final battle cuz they sure didnt fight... I guess they were there to...scream.

Oh yeah, I know the first movie was good cuz of the twists...but jesus fucking christ how many do we need now?

Yeah, a couple twists are great, but not every 5 minutes.
