His dad was involved with the assassination of JFK, was promoted to head of the CIA and eventually became the President because of that, so this would be just another branch in the Bush family tree.

The reasons for 9/11, like a lot of things in life, aren't that simple to list out and define.

You have the obvious things like US foreign policy, world politics, economics, natural resources, and the fucked up culture that would foster the assholes that would fly planes into two buildings killing 3,000 innocent civilians.

And once you move past those obvious reasons, things get even more murky and complex.

If you're looking for some clear-cut reason, you're going to be disappointed.

I vote number 2. We stay is everyone's business and it is always for our benefit in one way or another. Its all political games. We do our best to keep the world running correctly, or at least the way we want the world to run to keep us number 1.

• kidnapping civilians.
• torturing civilians.
• executing civilians, including children, who were captured in combat.
• raping women.
• indiscriminately attacking civilians and civilian houses.
• seizing civilian property.
• setting alight civilian houses in captured towns.
• assassinated 910 state officials;
• attacked nearly 100 civilian communities;
• caused the displacement of over 150,000 people from their homes and farms;
• damaged or destroyed bridges, port facilities, granaries, water and oil deposits, electrical power stations, telephone lines, saw mills, health centers, schools and dams.

A Sandinista militiaman interviewed by The Guardian claimed that Contra rebels committed these atrocities against Sandinista prisoners after a battle at a Sandinista rural outpost:

Rosa had her breasts cut off. Then they cut into her chest and took out her heart. The men had their arms broken, their testicles cut off and their eyes poked out. They were killed by slitting their throats and pulling the tongue out through the slit.

Withought 9/11 the U.S. could never have attacked Iraq and gone for the oil reserves, IMO.

Oil is even more important now, than it was during WWII.

China is consuming a lot more of it.

We are living in the age of oil.

We had the Iron Age, Guilded, etc.

The prevailing theory on JFK is LBJ used his CIA people to whack him. JFK had made his intentions to dismantle the CIA well known, and he made a fool of LBJ with the bay of pigs fiasco. Recent death-bed confessions, photo evidence, and the rapid promotion of certain people back that up.

Personally, I don't believe in formal education, but I have a B.A. and started a Master's program, that I won't finish because I didn't like the program.

My age in reality is the late 30s.


A great way to get an education is to a) travel and live around the world and b) read lots of books.

Just MHO.
