Yeah, best of luck indeed. I don't know much about your situation, but I think it's a good move to divorce if that's what you really want. So many people live their lives married to someone they no longer love or want to be with without doing anything about it.

I stuck it our for the sake of our son for too many years ... I wish I had done what you are doing long ago instead of a few years ago. My only advice is to take the check and start over with completely new shit bro. I did and wound up with better stuff, all mine ... with no ghosts reminding me of things I didn't want to think of. It was cathartic picking everything out purely for my own gratification ...

once you leave it may be hard to take possession of the home again if she decides not to let you. n if as you say she's gonna be really pissed she could get vindictive. on the other hand it would seem a reasonable request considering you are the one that initiated this.
