    Tuna Fishies!

Best thing to eat after a workout in my opinion.. you got anything else you like which is protein-filled ?

Hey I heard that if you don't eat mad proteins right after you're done working out then you're just burning your muscle that you worked on and then your damaging yourself, is that true?

And if so.. what's the dead-line to eat the proteins? I heard half an hour from some people and an hour from others.. Personally I just try to do it 5-10 minutes after I'm done!

    Word up!

I like ground turkey meatloaf or seasoned ground turkey mixed with green beans and Lea & Perrins Steak Sauce......I also like chicken breasts sliced thin and baked with light brushing of olive oil to make the spices stick, then i slice it up and dump it on a bed of wild and brown rice mixed with a little bit of chicken broth and pepper for flavor then I add slightly boiled celery, onions and carrots.....

Protein as well as carbohydrates are important after a workout. Try not to eat much fat right after a workout though, as it will slow absorption of nutrients.

There isn't an exact "deadline," but in my experience it works best to have a light meal of protein and carbs, or a protein shake with fruit or juice as soon as possible after a workout. Then, an hour or so later eat a nice big meal and boom! you are now John Basedow.

well maybe that is true.. but I heard that your muscles are tired and are looking for proteins after you work out so if you don't consume proteins withinn 30-60 minutes after working out then your muscles won't get any proteins and they will just get burned out a bit or something like that.

and maniclion you will have to work out in a kitchen with a chef hat for that hahah, no seriously what the fuck was that shit!

I know man I hear ya.. when you're at home chilling you'd wanna eat something like that for sure for the taste.. but after a workout when you're all sweaty you just wanna get mad proteins in your body so you can be done with that.. doesn't really matter if you add "slightly" boiled carrots and perrins steak sauce, hahah

That's why I cook for an army, then I freeze some and put the rest in separate tupperware bowls for quick access. Then you just pop it in the microwave for a minute and a half and chow down....but I also have the benefit of having a home gym so I could make anything I wanted after my workout because my kitchen is 10 feet from my gym....
