Laura Bush is in our shop right now.
She is here with a friend and 2 secret service men. I was laughing with my buddy in the back about how much we both would like to tell her how much of an idiot her husband is. Its pretty crazy. I wish I could get a picture, but that would be damn near impossible with the secret service guys around her.

She was very friendly, and extremely charismatic. I showed her antique rugs for their vacation cabin. She has actually been in our store numerous times. One of her best friend's was from Texas, but moved to Fairehope, Alabama, and is one of our customers. Fairhope is a hide away retreat for rich people who just want to get away from the public eye. There is more money in Fairhope than anyone realizes. about 80% of our business is coming from rich people retiring in Fairhope on the water front.
As far is the first lady goes, I was impressed. She seems like a nice person to be around. There were 4 secret servicemen that I could see, and a customer called us, and our phone line was cracking a little.
