He would not say how the bodies were discovered, or who found them.

World Wrestling Entertainment, based in Stamford, Conn., said on its Website that Benoit, 40, his wife, Nancy, and son, who was named Daniel, were found dead but also had no other details.
Monday at their Fayette County home, authorities said.

Sheriff's Lt. Tommy Pope said the three were found about 2:30 p.m., but he would release no other details about the deaths at the house near White Water Country Club.

From ABC News:

There was no sign of gunshot wounds or stabbing, according to Pope. But they are not ruling out other causes, such as poisoning, suffocation, or strangulation. Although Pope noted he was not "confirming" any of these causes, just not ruling them out at this time.

Not trying to derail, but what the fuck is up with those anti drug commercials before the clip played? Slumming... wtf? if a leach got you high, I guarantee you that people would be sticking them to every inch of their body.

some kids were talking about this shit on xbox live a few minutes ago.

i bet it was roid rage. he was all pumped up on steroids and flipped the fuck out punching holes through his wife and kids heads................it could happen

I hate this shit for that very reason. While steroids might have contributed to him going over the edge, he had to be on a fuck-load of depression medication or something of the sort to do what he did.

It was creepy watching the intro to tonights RAW (I haven't watched it in years, but I was captivated tonight) because he was kissing his wife and kid and showing all sorts of affection.

After he won the Rumble (which was actually an incredible match from what I saw tonight) he brought his wife and child down to the ring to celebrate with him. In the midst of the confetti, the three of them embraced with all sorts of hugs and kisses.

...An hour later I found out he murdered them.

Dont know the validity behind it but someone wrote (sounds like bullshit to me and it doesn't jive with other things we heard but at this point anything's possible).

"My second cousin is an officer with GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigations) and what he's heard in his circle is that Chirs Benoit's wife killed their son Daniel, called Chris and told him to rush home because of an emergency which is why he missed last Sunday's Vengeance PPV. Upon arriving home Benoit killed his wife in a rage for the death of his son and then killed himself Monday morning. His wife's body was found in the master bedroom, strangled with the cord from an alarm clock. The son's body was found in his room appearantly suffocated with a garbage bag. Chris then wrote a suicide note explaining what had happened, apologized to his family, his other children (from a seperate relationship), and his fans. He the fasioned a slip-knot noose from from rope taken from the garage and hung himself from the ballaster in the foyer of his suburban Atlanta home."

We will just have to wait and see

so right now rumour is:

1.) wife killed son
2.) chris killed wife for killing son
3.) chris killed himself for killing wife

question is (IMO) why did the wife kill the son?

needless to say, RIP Chris + family
