I love you guys, but this is a very real case. Muammar el-Qaddafi is a total dick head as usual and playing this for all it's worth. Their so called 'Supreme Court' is making another ruling (these people have been jailed for 9 years) on July 11th. I am signing the petition.

if that's anywhere near true, then those fuckers should be hanged and then decapitated. if that's anywhere near true, then nine years doesn't even cut close to punishment. anf if that is anywhere near true...i don't see why anyone would want to help them out of it.

Almost 9 years ago 5 Bulgarian nurses and 1 Palestinian doctor were arrested in Libya and accused of infecting over 400 children with AIDS-virus. Since then all evidence proves that there is no guilt and the infection had started long before they were hired in the hospital. Leading world experts on AIDS said the case is not medical, but political. Libyan leader Kaddafi wants money in exchange of their freedom.

^ i don't see how him wanting money for their freedom holds anything down on the issue. big deal. that doesn't mean they didn't do it. if i found out someone was doing shit like that in my country, i'd hold them at ransom and worse. we're americans, and being americans, we think we have some great authority over the world. we're ignorant and selfish, and would do anything to make our asses look good. so if something like that did happen, it's not like we'd confess too it. of course we're gonna say it's the other guys fault, or that we're innocent and it's all lies. it wouldn't surprise me one bit that we injected kids in another country with some deadly and incurable desiese.
after all, we do it every day to lab rats across the country. to many americans, what's the difference between that and the people in third world countries.

Using changes in the genetic information of HIV over time as a "molecular clock," analysts concluded the virus was contracted before the six defendants arrived at the hospital perhaps even three years before.

The people involved are not American, nor were they there in anything connected with an American interest. They are Bulgarian and Palistinain, and part of a medical aid/research team of paid/volunteers working on aids vaccines and aids relief for those children. They've been raped, beaten, had their bones broken, and one has lost both an eye and a hand.

I appreciate your scorn of our government SYN. They are a bunch of bastards, but if you take the time to read the wiki you'll see these people have no relationship to our country or our government.
