    Anyone in Chicago or pretty close?

    This is pretty random to post here but hey....

    The And 1 street ball team is touring and will be in Chicago this Saturday, July 7th

    will be at the United Center


    touring with the And 1 team is an Freestyle rolling team (Aggressive rollerblading) called Dipskate, a team sponsored by the rap group Dipset (Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Camron(KillaCam))

    and a buddy of mine is a pro on the skate team...


    The tour is sponsored by Mt. Dew




    ok now I am planning to attend, and would love to meet anyone who is interested in showing up...

    I will have a VIP pass to lounge around with the skate team and probably meet the And 1 team

    can perhaps get one for a couple people who show up...


    I am somewhat advertising here because I work with the Dipskate team helping my friend out, but I also would love to meet some of you if you can make it.

    ohhhh btw

    the skating starts at 3:00pm

    it is held outside, it is free

    eventually the show moves into the arena and then the basketball starts along with some skating I think for the halftime show or something....

    inside costs money but if you show up for the shit outside and meet up with me I can possibly get you a free VIP pass

    lol this is basically the reason for the tour

    the sport is buried with no exposure


    the easiest way to say it is to compare it to skateboarding

    ramps, grinding rails...


    x-games...


    but with rollerblades

    Im meeting a lot of other people from another msg board I frequent, granted it is an aggressive rollerblading board so you know...lol a wide variety of ages Im sure

    Im not going to lie to you, if you go there is a good chance you wont find the skating interesting...unless you have interest in xtreme sports already


    I just made this thread to possibly meet some people on the board...

    the bball should strike more interest in most...which isnt free, but I can try to get you a free VIP pass
