Linux iPhone Competitor
The fact that it can use micro SD cards and has USB and costs $300
make this phone way better....the fact that it is on Linux and can be used with almost any Provider makes it awesome.....

One of the problems I also heard about the iPhone is that it uses the Safari browser which is a total piece of shit.....with a linux multimedia phone I'm sure firefox and opera will be available.....yeah it doesn't have a built in camera, but I've seen little USB laptop cameras....what is cool is you could plug in an 8GB usb thumbdrive and have the most expensive version of the iPhone and still be able to add the sd card or swap out the usb and watch another 1 or 2 movies you'd stored....Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles

I never use the camera so it don't matter if my phone has one or not, I'm sure they will have one in the next version they mentioned....

Awesome find Manic. If I hadn't just bought a new Motorola phone and a new Microsoft Zune, I would have bought it. It would have saved me money to only have gotten the new linux phone.

Just bought the Jap version of the HTC TyTN like two weeks ago. Same as the 8525 but has the front cam for video calls and it's got a cool black color goin' on. I upgraded to WM6 and love it. Down side is a weak WIFI antenna so war driving kinda sux.

See I just don't get the hype the iphone was/is getting. I'm so sick of mass marketing media swaying peoples opinions. It's like watching some con man talk a retard into trading his $100 dollar bill for a penny cause it's shiny, hard and won't rip. It really sickens me...

I love it, however I think when I get my next smartphone I will be after a slightly larger screen and keyboard, maybe the size of the T-Mobile Wing... I just did not want to pay the price for the Wing. I did have to upgrade the Dash to WM6, it came with WM5 on it. Originally Posted by soxmuscle
