Democratic contenders won't debate on Fox News Channel. All the Republicans except Mike Huckabee chose not to talk with teachers at their National Education Association annual meeting. Only one Republican candidate, Rep. Duncan Hunter, went to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials convention. Today, our Gannett colleagues at the Detroit Free Press report that while eight Democrats candidates will attend the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People convention Thursday in Detroit, only one Republican is expected -- Rep. Tom Tancredo. The NAACP says it invited all the contenders from both parties.

So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.
