Thread: divorce

My parents haven't actually divorced, but they were separated for a few years and have been constantly arguing for as long as I can remember. Their marriage is the exact opposite of what I want mine to be.

My advice is to hang in there, it is your parent's decision to divorce so you shouldn't feel down about it. I don't know how your parents are, but if they're anything like mine, you should not let their negativity affect you. Try to be the best person you can be. Succeed in life and try to learn from their mistakes so that you can avoid serious marriage problems in the future.

very sorry to hear that, I am fortunate not to have lived through it, but it seems very common and perhaps you can console with a friend about it.....? Wont have to look too far to find someone to talk to who have divorced parents Im sure
