It's the summer, why not mow the lawn or do some sports shirtless?
Personally, I think tanning in a salon is a little too much, but I've had girlfriends try to get me to go over the winter because I get pale. According to them, a lot of guys go. I also have some guy friends who do it, but I have yet to try. I don't think it's worth it; I hear the lights can hurt really hurt your eyes if you don't protect them properly.

its not that big a deal. just go in a do it. you think the people already there are going to think your wierd going to a tanning salon. they are there too. i did it to prep for a week long rafting trip so i didnt burn on the boat. worked out great for me.

No tanning for me. I'm not into skin cancer.
But that's easy to say for me, because I'm reasonably tanned year round. Spanish blood FTW.

i don't ever go out specifically to tan. i might go to the beach or out on the boat to socialize and if i get color (which i will), cool. i am not down with skin cancer though, so I will not bake on purpose. the only time i ever went to a tanning salon was right before my wedding to get rid of tan lines for my strapless dress.

They have spray tans now. My sister gets them before she goes to the beach or a big event. We are both pale. German/Irish. I don't get tan. I'm that guy at the beach that is really white. Sucks. I do get more color then my sister though.

u aren't going to get skin cancer from spending 10 minutes in a tanning booth 1 or 2 times a week...
