I recommend anyone who is scared of clowns to go ssee this movie.

It's not much but....it's something.
Well it doesn’t show a whole lot but it does give you a good quick feel for what’s coming with next summer’s The Dark Knight which of course stars Christian Bale as Batman / Bruce Wayne and Heath Ledger as The Joker.
Give it a watch!

I recommend anyone who is scared of clowns to go ssee this movie.

He looks badass! A lot of men and women will wet thier pants......

Hm I don't like Batman, but in that pic he doesn't look that bad.
That certainly is a teaser trailer.
Bale as the good guy? Ledger as the bad guy!?!?
Nope... Sorry
(daddy. I didn't know the joker was a gay cowboy?)

this movie looks awesome.. I love that it's being shot in Chicago![]()

Meh. I dont know about Heath. The Joker has always been one of my favorite realistic villains, so I will naturally be very critical about this.

His voice sounded cool on the trailer.![]()
ok so what is different about this movie than the original Batman?

Its a more serious tone than a comic book tone. Not sure which one I like more since Batman Begins was such a good movie.

I see...
but really, how serious can a movie try to be when the main character is a guy that dresses up in a bat suit? I mean who does this to any semblance in real life? I can see someone dressing up like the joker, you know a crazy clown type murderer psycho guy, that is somewhat realistic, but not a guy dressed as a bat who drives a batmobile....
should have just left it as a comic

Lawl, aw cmon. I guess you didnt see Batman Begins. Bats frightened Bruce, so when he conquered his fear he used it as fuel and created an image.

The movies you listed...the only one that was good was with Jack Nicholson.. I also liked the one with Danny Devito, but the Val Kilmer one was shitty and the Arnold one was even WORSE.
Batman Begins has Christian Bale in it as Bruce Wayne. Though MIchael Keaton surprised the shit out of me, Bale fills the Bat's Boots perfectly.

Batman Begins (2005)

No one can do the joker better than Jack Nicholson, they should use someone a little bit nuts in real life again....you know like Dennis Hopper, Gary Busey nuts....
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

I've been hearing that a lot, but I think this new joker won't be anything like the Joker in Nicholson's Batman.
The new one looks much darker & less playful. At first I wasn't crazy about Heath Ledger playing it, but now I really think he will be perfect for the role.
Can't wait to see this one; absolutely loved Batman Begins.
