I don't think I am going to go. I am about 98% sure of that right now.

The convention has gone down hill each year. Last year it was shitty. Plus, I get nothing out of going. If I go to the Arnold, I can at least attend the strength and conditioning seminars and get continuing education credits.

I might. Big maybe though since I'd rather go to Vegas on a different weekend (say during a big boxing card).

Those contests are at the Arnold, not the olympia. The arnold is way more fun with a splash of gayness (the bb'ers)....the olympia is full time gayness.

all you do is sign up for the Strength and Conditioning Summit at the Aronld Classic (it is the first weekend in March). Show up, and they give you a pass to get into whatever lectures you want to see (usually there are two going on at a time) and then you go and listen, take notes and throw things at the speaker. At the end they give you a form which says you have completed "x" amount of continuing education credits and you take that information and submit it to your certifying organization.

Are the lectures pretty decent or are they common sense lectures to us?

In other words, is the bulk of the lectures usually for the general public and not anyone thats in the fitness field(s)..

Too far for me to swim....how about everyone come out to Hawaii. That time of year is beautiful here....well every time of year is beautiful here actually...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Some are better than others. They usually have a few really good ones from some big time strength coaches or researchers.

I think you would get a lot out of it if you went.
