Shows based on home videos has been around a while, but that clip was fuggin outstanding. No way I'd have ever believed that a heard of buffalo would take on a pride of lions.
So, i was watching a new show that premiered tonight called "i-Caught" which consists of videos caught on tape by people all over the world that is put on youtube, break.com, et cetera ..
They showed this video first and i was absolutely amazed. I can't believe i missed it and have watched it a few times already in utter disbelief.
This video is a battle between a pride of lions, a herd of buffalo, and 2 crocodiles at a watering hole in South Africa's Kruger National Park while on safari. What's funny about this video was that the man who recorded this was someone who uses his camera recorder once or twice a year and didn't even know where the record button was. All of the pros on the Wildlife and Discovery channel shows were envious because they have spent years trying to capture a memory like this on live footage.
I'm not going to give anything away so enjoy the video

That was a great find Shiz, I like the part......I can't say but I was suprised at the ending.

I like the part where the buffalo come back for the calf. I like it all.
The part that amazes me the most is the herd of buffaloes all coming back together as one big army. When the two adult buffaloes took off while the baby got caught, i was thinking why the hell they weren't saving the baby and thought the baby had no chance. Once all those buffaloes showed up, i was like hoooolllyyy shiiiitt!
Some of the lions were pretty brave though ... not running away right away and actually staying on top of the baby buffalo in a wild fight. I was hoping that the crocodiles would come out of the water and join the fight .. haha.

That's what suprised me, how they were able to communicate and get them all together is amazing and yes, the lioness did show courage.
I would have loved to see what a male lion would have done.
Would he fight the alpha buffolo like the other male lion did against the hyenas.
The crocs was an extra treat.
Astonishing that the baby got up even. I thought it was already gnawed gnon. New game for buffaloes ... lion tossing.
why you delete that min0?

That was awesome!
Buffalos aint gonna take no crap no more!

They do it all of the time when the alpha male isn't around. Watch Lion Battlefield(torrent it) a pride is sitting in the bush with cubs while one of the males is out marking territory or something. Water Buffalo bulls charge the pride and put their horns to the cubs killing 2 or 3.

The Alpha male Lion is truly a king.
Remember when the hyenas were messing around with the pride (lioness)
The big guy came back and kick ass.
This one's pretty gruesome. Some fool with a video camera forgets his place in the food chain. The pride of lions reminds him and his entourage.
Plus footage from that camera the lion stole off with ...

That was awesome. I'm so glad the buffalo won. Lions (cats in general) are a pathetic species. The males sit around all day and basically do absolutely nothing except produce testosterone while the females do all the hunting, typically killing the weak and defenseless no less. Just about everything worthless on this planet came from Africa originally. AIDS, Ebola, blacks, even the fucking Dodo was from Africa. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if Mexico was once a part of Africa too. I hate cats. Go buffaloes!!

Buffalo will cease an opportunity to kill young lion cubs, elephants will too and Cheetahs will kill cubs, even male lions will kill another males sons it's a process of just trying to keep the numbers in control. If nothing would kill the lions at some point they would over run the whole continent, well except for humans who would kill them just because they are there.....looks at crocodiles even they have enemies in the hippo...
