I loved the Legend of Zelda, I don't think Nintendo ever really replicated the spirit of the first game (I still play the ROM of it every now and then). I think A Link to the Past was pretty good and I loved the Orcarina of Time. I haven't played the latest one, but I also don't own a Wii or GameCube. Link is my man, yeah baby!

I've only played the 2 for NES and "A link to the past" (that's the one for SNES right?) A Link to the Past was my favorite.
My brother and I used to have a map (a paper map at that) for the first one and we played it pretty religiously (though neither of us was good enough to get very far in the game, and I've never actually beaten it). That game was a lot of fun and I still get chills when I hear the theme song or see the picture of the waterfall!
I think I have played all of the Zelda games except for the GameCube one, and the Twilight Princess (Nintendo Wii) is by far the best one. I know the old classics are hard to beat but the new game is so detailed that not many games can touch it. The controls are absolutely perfect... they are pretty crappy for some games on the Wii but they are a masterpiece for Zelda... there are alot and some are complex but they are easy to master.
Can we whore with random image macros in here yet?:

i get it. he ordered the meat lovers pizza n they screwed his order up n he's pissed. his gf is in puerto rico visiting family n somebody got mad cuz he was being noisy during a golf game.![]()
Don't look back ~ You're not going that way!
I love Zelda, best game ever. Last one i played was the one for N64, i downloaded the ROM for it and played it on my PC. It was a great game, i think it was Ocarina of Time, the one where you play the flute and can be young then an adult etc. Great game, great controls, vast world, awesome story, i just can't say enough about the whole zelda series.

^^^^^ WTF is that prose about? Is crono branching out into slushy romantic novels? Or is that an exert from the early years of his forthcoming autobiography?
Wow.....strong imagination. The girl in the painting is hot.
wow. I remember the picture but I truly have no recollection of ever writing that

I saw Twilight PRincess is out (or been out) on the GameCube. I still have the gamecube and wondered about getting it... Not sure how much I am sacraficing passing up the Wii's controls for just straight up zelda gameplay.
Gameplay itself is what sold me on the series, so thats why I thought of just getting the gamecube one.

I've actually read reviews in which they love the wii controls and others that absolutely hate them. Dunno, tough choice. I hear graphics are about the same for both though
From what I understand, the game cube and Wii versions are mirriors of each other.... pretty much the exact same game but everything is opposite. Lol did that make since? Like in the game cube game if you walk out of the door and go left... then on the Wii you would go right. And the graphics do seem to be similar so I think about the only difference would be the controls. I wouldn't buy a Wii just to have the awsome contols for Zelda... but if you want it for other games also then it is a good investment. Alot of the games that are out now are pretty simple and kiddie but they are addicting, although there are big future plans for awsome games and add on equipment.

Hmm...maybe Ill pick it up! I am going to be going back to college in August and for the time being that I dont know ANYFUCKINGONE, this might be a good timekiller.
