    LASEK Eye Surgery

I have been wearing contacts/glasses since i was 14 years old and i got this surgery done on my eyes a week ago. I am ecstatic with the results and my vision has been improving (it's about 80-85% right now since it takes about 10-14 days to fully heal), there is one small drawback.

Everytime i blink, my right eye bothers me as if it feels like there is an eyelash in it. I checked but there is nothing in my eye and it's not red and there is also no sign of a scratch. I have been using all of my eyedrops the doctor told me to use as well as artificial tears such as Systane and Clear Eyes but it is not helping. I don't understand why it's bothering my right eye and not my left.

For those of you who have gotten eye surgery or not, and have ever felt discomfort in your eye when you blink but isn't painful, what did you use to help heal it? I am making a trip to CVS later on today and would like to know if there are any recommendations that i should check out. I would also like to point out that i have dry eye syndrome as well so maybe that will help. Also, please don't tell me to go see my doctor because they are closed on the weekends and i have already made a couple trips there in the past few days. It's a long ride and it's not that serious enough to get it checked out.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

Last note, please do not confuse yourself between LASEK and LASIK. There is a small difference between the two. Please search both if you would like to know more.

It will go away in a few days, don't worry...

Had my Lasik in '97' when it was in its infancy and expensive...
