Pay attention, take notes if necessary, do the homework, ask questions when needed, fully understand all concepts, and get an A+. But that's just what I would do.

17 year old sophomore? I was 17 thru my entire senior year.

This is a prime situation to mess with people. Pretend to be somebody different to every group of people and see how long it takes for a confrontation to arise.

I had a similar situation except I had an advanced English class that my classmates didn't get because I had transferred from a more advanced school my Junior year. So my jr and sr year I sat in the back of a freshman English class and wrote stories all year while the teacher taught the freshmen. Then my teacher would read my story and being so impressed she always made me read them to the class. Luckily I knew most of the, because it was a small school and I was on the football team...
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Why do you need friends in your class? Go to class to learn not to socialize, god damn it! If you really want more friends just introduce yourself. I don't see what the problem is. The age difference should make no difference. The older you get the less important it becomes. Well, it is never really important, but people seem to think it is.

If you had paid attention in high school maybe you could spell 'barrel' today.

Actually, that is probably more elementary school than high school.

Who cares? Is it just because you need friends to copy off of or because you would rather have a social event than a class?

You should goof off and make friends with the new people in the class. Then you can do it again next year too.

I don't really want to be friends with any of them. They are annoying and immature. They also think they are hot shit.

    I am actually 15 not 17.

Contrary to what some replies suggest, you can in fact make friends and follow the classes at the same time.

I don't really remember why I put I was 17. I think I put I was 17 because I wanted to be taken more seriously.

Kefe is the most serious 12 year old, now 13 year old, I have ever met. I never name calls or talks shit. He just pops in every now and then to say I got new pictures up. I can't help but to respect that.
