I've had this problem for about 2 weeks now, and sure enough that's when school started. I always remembered (and still do) having trouble sleeping after the summer break cuz you're so used to going to bed like at 4 or 5 am. Then suddenly you have school at 7am!

juice a stick of celery with two apples. Good cure for insomnia, but it takes a bit of time to prepare and by then you'd probably already be asleep

    Settle for sominex

Or try drinking a glass of milk, whacking it. All three options work for me.

I remember in a movie a guy suggested taking 2 Nyquil gel caps and then try to masturbate before you pass out....

Good sleep schedule. Do NOT take melatonin at odd hours, you are just fucking with your natural rhythm. Having a good sleep cycle can take just as much training and dedication as anything else. People highly underestimate the importance of sleep. I'm not going to bother going into details because you have made a thread just like this and apparently you never took the appropriate measures.

this is exactly right. I am a huge advocate for proper sleep. Sleep and dreaming are my two interest points in psychology and I simply can't stress the importance of sleep. It's funny too that you'll meet someone who is obsessed with diet and exercise and only sleep 4-6 hours a night

Yes, sleep trumps all, it affects brain fuction so much. IMO dreaming is just as important and interesting as "waking" life. I actually got into lucid dreaming from a thread you had a long time ago.

In that case, make sure you don't fall asleep before the next evening and go to bed early.

I can't tell you how cool that is to hear. I've been having an insomnia spell so I haven't been able to lucid dream for weeks now, it's pretty irritating actually.
