Lawl, The first scene to pop in my head when I read the thread title was the scene from true romance. I opened the thread, and the first post is that scene.

    (In response to ReproMan's post)

The first scene in that movie made me laugh so hard it hurt my sides!

So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

This isn't a particulary great scene, but it does come from the best British movie ever made.. Kubrick was a Genius & always had fantastic soundtracks..

Oh hell yeah. I remember seeing this in the theaters and really not knowing what to expect. Talk about a home run of a first scene!

Little long...but it does have 2 scenes I love in it.

    Best gore movie.

I even have a soft spot. I think this scene puts any Notebook scene to shame.

I wish I had a good scene, but this isnt too bad..

This is 1 of my favouroite movies & the only 1 to have ever made me cry. Scorsese's best film by far & De Niro's best performance.

This scene here always used to make me cry, as i've been in similar situation with nobody left to blame, just myself.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
