I can't watch it right now, but cops are allowed to say anything they want so long as it doesn't "force an innocent person to confess" or something along those lines.

Cops can even present fake evidence during an interrogation (but not in court) to induce a criminal to come clean.

Make sure you take a look at it when you get a chance. There was no interrogation about a crime, and this guy had done nothing wrong, it is fairly clear when he asks "what did I do?" and the cop starts stuttering and says "you're a suspicious vehicle..." and then the shit hits the fan...

Fuck that. I am glad this video was made. You notice that the cop lossed 'control' when he saw a camera in the kid's car? All of a sudden, the cop wants to be a buddy. Fuck him. I hope he dies. And his family suffers too. Hows that sound?

wow...I have personally never had a bad experience with cops, and Im not one of those people who look real hard to take shots at them and say "Fuck cops" for no reason...but really what in the fuck?

Oh my fucking god, yeah. What an asshole! I hope that kid shows this tape to some people higher up the food chain, maybe something will be done to correct that problem.

It's weird that I hate that cop more than some of the more self empowered deputies in Orange County Florida - some of them are grade A assholes, not all, some are very nice to me (when I ever get a chance to talk to them). I understand that their job is crazy, stressful, and sometimes deadly, but I don't know how that can really explain this.

Nice? Maybe robotic. Last time I checked, having an attitude isnt against the law.

This goes back to that one story about the murderer that murdered a cop, of which the cops' partners beat the shit out of him before they brought him back to court. If you cant swallow personal feelings in that job, you dont belong in that job.

The cop is human like you and me. he was probably having a bad day ,still what he did was wrong. Every one knows that giving a cop bad attitude its a bad idea.

You can tell me that his mom just died, frankly, I dont care for the explanation. He should not have made such threats nor acted in such a way, period.

My best friend had drugs planted on him. Then the drug taskforce officer that planted the drugs told him he could go without being booked if he narced on some other friends of ours. HE said he would, then the next day told his parents who hired a lawyer to put heat on the city to have the task force back off a little. I never had any problems after that, and many of us had our vehicles bugged for our protection.

Now, I'll be honest and say yes we were all doing massive amounts of drugs, and we were smart and new the system so the only way the cops could catch us was to use tactics that were as dirty as ours. That doesn't give the the right to do the things they were doing, but I do understand why they do them.

Also, cops do not fuck with innocent people 99% ofr the time. If a cop is using dirty tactics against you, odds are the police have been watching you for a long time, and have run out of ideas for how to get a conviction against you.

That kid, and the others are just out there to fuck with cops. I don't agree with the police behavior, but the kids are both total smart asses. The kid pulls into a parking lot in the middle of the night where shit is known to go down. The kid only did it because he knew it would get a rise out of the police that would for sure be there. The kid should be charged with being a dumbass....and the police officer needs to get canned for being so immature and abusing his power.

The officer should have told the kid to leave and if he refused arrest him for obstruction of justice or some shit.

Bottom line is the kid knew what he was doing and set out to fuck with the police for the sake of doing it. That is wasting the officers time, and the tax payers dollar. I repeat the actions of the officer is fucked up and he should be canned for it...but what the kid was doing is baiting and wrong.

if a cop asked me "where you headed tonight?" the only way i'd say "i don't want to discuss my personal life with you" was if i was trying to be an ass and i think this kid was being one. still cops should not be so easily angered. if they can't keep their cool when some snot nosed kid gives them lip then i'd imagine they are a hot head in any situation that rubs them the wrong way. that makes for shitty cops. the cops here are all great guys but there's one that's kind of a crab. the rest of them will tell people "just steer clear of the old guy"

How many times had the kids and their friends been fucked with without probable cause before they decided to do that? I think the kids did a service to the city for catching the fucker doing that. It is cops like him that make other cops look bad. One cop fucks with people continuously then word gets around, so before long people in an area hate all of the cops. That is bad the reputation of the force.

Police can do their job better when they have the support of the people they are trying to protect. That support comes with respect, and cops that misuse their power really hurts the good cops out there that are doing the their best to keep us safe.

i agree somewhat but i think it's good that the truth about some of these cops is being made public. i'd imagine the cameras came about after and because of the problem with power crazy bullying cops. i don't think the kid being a very mild smart ass changed that cops personality. i'm willing to bet the cop was a douche to numerous people for years before the kid filmed him.
