Bubble A new Biggest Loser season begins...

And I almost want to call major bullshit.

Multiple participants lossed an average of 10-20lbs in 1 week. I just cant see that happening, let alone, with multiple people. The oldest one (62 years old) lossed 31lbs? In just a fucking week?!

If this show JUST started, I might be inclined to possibly believe it as these fatties are shipped off AWAY from the world and thrust into nothing but proper diet and exercise. However, in the past shows, the average weekly loss was ~5-15lbs. 20+lbs were few and far between. I think on the previous shows' first weigh ins, they lossed just a handful of pounds, then a lot, then a handful again. Somehow in this season, they skipped the first weeks and got thrust into weight drop land.

I love this show, but last night was too unbelievable.

6' 209lbs (8/16)
Bench 360 (11/29)
Weighted Pullups 80lbs 3x3 (3/19)
Squat 370
Deadlift after herniation 385lbs 3x3 (3/17)
NASM certified 2/06

That was the first weigh-in last night after the original weigh-in.

Yeah. The first weigh in after 1 week of work.

Do you remember the other shows' first weigh ins after the first week of working out? It was no where NEAR these results.

The first week was always pretty dramatic. Intial water weight and what not.

Maybe the contestants are starting to be a little smarter leading into this contest. Loading up before the weigh-in.

Correeect.

Ive lost 8 pounds in a matter of hours. verrrryyyyyy intense wrestling practice.

If I remember correctly I was also pretty sick after the practice, severe dehydration, etc, lost 1 gallon of fluid.

Those people probably had "one last fling" and ate a shitload of cake or whatever straight before they came out

It's all water. MMA fighters do the same thing. End result = biggest scam.

their diets are reduced to about 1200 calories for ladies and less than 2000 for the guys.

keep watching the rest of the show, their weightloss slows down to a couple pounds a week. with anyone, the first weeks are dramatic because you are losing water and what ever else is stored in your intestinal tract due to inadequate fiber intake.
