Zooming in With Google Earth
Google Earth is a virtual globe program. It maps the earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite imagery, aerial photography and GIS 3D globe.
Google Earth has a strong zooming feature that magnifies your desired location in a very smooth transition. But there are some complaints that Google has taken this feature too far.

While in Google Earth hit Ctrl+Alt+A.....it will enter flight simulator mode and you can fly all over the world, even kamikaze your house or the Whitehouse, but I'm sure after you do that you'll soon find a black van in your driveway....
