65-70
90-98
Looking through my record collection, and after searching for stuff to download, I've come to the conclusion that a lot of the music from the early 90's was fucking excellent. At a glance....
Pixies
Nirvana
Pearl Jam
Oasis
Stone Roses
Lemonheads
Soundgarden
Tool
Jeff Buckley
G 'n' R
Prodigy
RATM
etc..etc...etc....
So many good bands, way superior to the 80's and 00's (so far).
Better than much of the 70's, but not the 60's.
I know you can't really group music into a time period, being better than another, but....
What era do you think had the best music (if you had to choose)- dose'nt have to be a decade, maybe a period (e.g 68' - 72')

Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???

My favorite decade for movies was the 80s, but the 90s were good, too. They just started to suck more and more as the decade wore on.

about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.

Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

The 90s music kicks major fucking ass. So much good music from both the 70s and 90s.
