    new video card

so I decided I would get a new video, because it seems mine, even though my computer is new, doesn't support the new games.

the one I am looking at your motherboard needs to be PCI Express compliant (I really have no what what the PCI Express thing is). I was just wondering if I were to install the hardware without it being compliant could that screw my computer up?

    What model is your mobo?

I am unsure of my motherboard make. all I know is that the computer is an HP. is there anyway I could figure out the make of it by looking through a list of my computer's hardware, on my computer?

What model is it? I can figure out if your PC uses AGP or PCI-e.
