hellz yeah ! i play drums and i know if i had a show id be so pumped that id be playing like i was on a stage in front of millions of people. good luck, most of all just have fun with it.

5 song set, we have 5 songs, lol.

unfortunately, we're kicking out the 2nd guitarist, but we just needed him to play a show with us.

He apparantly stole a 400 buck necklace from our drummers mom, and pawned it.

so we're pawning his bass head he gave to the bassist, and giving it to the drummers mom, then kicking him out the night after the show

ownt. but like i said, hes used us more times than is reasonable for me to type, so just a little payback.

but yeah, its gonna be siiiick

If i lived near you id try out for the guitarist slot, haha. That guy sounds like a fucking tool. Youll be better off rid of him. A band is fragile enough without all that negative vibes going on.

yeah man that is fucked up. i know if i was in a band id want to be 100% sure i could trust every member like family. fuck that guy, dont just kick him out of the band, kick him in the ass and tell him to get the fuck out. thats awesome that youre going to sell the bass head and give the money to the drummers mom though. thats a real nice thing to do.

Im really excited. We gotta get some ish recorded here soon, then itll be up. You guys will be the first on my list to know about it

He is also apparently into a lot of hard drugs, which really isnt MUCH of an issue to me, but A. he wont be honest about it, and B. its affecting the band, as in he can barely get up to practice.

And as was mentioned by Gaz, he isnt truthful to me, which not only hurts my feelings, because I want to be like brothers with my bandmates, but if Im supposed to defend him when somebody talks crap, and I find out that stuff is true, or that he lied to me and I defended his lie, then I look like a dick. And I just moved here, and I dont need my first impression to be that of a naive fool.

Etc. So apparantly the drummer is also gonna sell his wireless setup for his guitar

lol, may just be able to buy his mom a whole new necklace

awesome, good luck with the recording ! hard drugs could be an issue or couldnt be, just depends i suppose. if it starts to affect the band then yeah, its definitely an issue. id be smoking some joints though

lol. yeah, hes not someone youd want in a band. get rid of him asap, definitely sell those things. i hate people who steal, especially people you thought you could trust.

I remember my first gig. It was hilarious.

Our mutual friend in the band lives on a farm, so as an "end of school" party, everybody in the whole year at school was going. So we decide to play, get there, and help set up a makeshift barn with a stage made up of:

Scaffolding poles, plastic sheeting, bails of hay, numerous planks of wood, and carpet.

What a fun day...

The drummer was supposed to kick him out, but he's an enormous pussy, but a great dude.

Whatever, we'll see. The concert went well all things considered, though

oh man, i cant believe someone didnt just tell him. damn dude. i wouldnt be too happy with him still in the band currently, or if no one planned to say anything and he was going to be around for a while i would definitely be confronting him about the whole stealing situation. thats just what id do though, and i tend to not let things like that go and they just build up more and more until i gotta let them know im pissed, heh. make sure nothing else turns up missing..dont invite him over to your house for a practice or anything, lol =p i know i wouldnt.

good to hear the concert went well, though. think youll get another shot at a show some time soon?

The whole situation is wretched. I want to believe him, but Im pretty sure I cant.

And yeah, haha, we have 3 more shows booked as is, and a big one this december with all the big local bands from the twin cities :o

We have another show this 31st, haha, we're carving our name into some pumpkins and putting lights in them, on our amps

I'm decent with my highs but I just can't get good lows

It's too bad you aren't local or I'd come to the show, hear some sweet music and take pics. Concert photography is a lot of fun.

ATTOJ is one of my favorite bands right now.

Our band in general has some influence from The Devil Wears Prada, kinda southerny, but not a lot.

I am more or less incoherent right now. Ill put the ATTOJ album on megaupload when I get back
