If the current you fought the 18-year old you, who would win?

This is for people over 21.

It is really tough for me to make up my mind on this one. The 18 year-old me weighed 260lbs, yet was still in fantastic condition from year round football training with boxing and baseball.

I am now stronger than I was before, but my cardiovascular conditioning has slipped a lot, and I seem to get hurt more easily now. My knowledge of fighting is slightly better now.

It would be a close fight.

So how does the current you measure up to the 18 year-old you? Who would win in a fight?

I am far more experienced and know all of my 18 year-old weaknesses, I'd be able to fuck with myself psychologically, I would crush me...

People put way to much emphasis on size and strength.

the 18 yr old me was actually stronger, which is what brought me to the boards in the first place. But 22 yr old me knows taekwondo and can take and give a punch better. Plus the 18 yr old me would have to stop every 5 minutes to go masterbate, while the 22 yr old me can suppress it for at least every 15 minutes

I can't think of a single attribute I had when I was 18 that is not better now that I am 31. I was wrestling in high school, but I outweigh my 18yo self by 40lbs and am leaner, much smarter, much stronger, much quicker, in a lot better shape, and I think I would be much more patient in a fight. Actually, it's not that I am in better condition, just in the proper kind of condition for a match/fight. If I had what I have now, I would have taken my scholarships and given it a go, but 18yo me wanted to drink, get laid, and have fun. I don't regret that, since beer has become such a great friend. Plus, there was more pussy to be had not training/competing 7 days a week.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

The 18 yo TT weighed about 150 lbs and was fairly athletic being involved in football, basketball, and baseball, but had no kind of strength training. The current TT is 75-80 lbs heavier, studied karate for 12 yrs, and is probably still close stamina-wise. I'd crush my younger self.

You know, I blame KelJu for your post. After all, he used the words "variables" and "constant".

That's a lot like math. Which wasn't very fair to you.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.
